Psychotherapie/psychotherapy

· somberheid;
· angstklachten;
· traumatische ervaringen waar je nog veel last van hebt;
· concentratie- en of gedragsproblemen
· relationele problemen
· opvoedingsvragen

English:

Psychotherapy is a form of assistance for psychological issues. There are many different types of psychotherapy. Conversations between a client (and possibly the important people around them) and a psychotherapist are central. Treatments are short when possible and longer when necessary.

Psychotherapy requires willingness and courage to think and talk about yourself, your child, and/or your parenthood. It also involves looking at these aspects together with the psychotherapist. This process can be energy-consuming, time-consuming, and confronting. The therapy consists of regular conversations with the psychotherapist.

The psychotherapist does not solve problems for you but helps you see behavior, feelings, or thoughts differently, process painful emotions, or approach difficult situations in a way that suits you and is effective (scientifically researched and/or proven effective in practice).

The goal of psychotherapy is to gain more clarity about the nature of your issues and then reduce or better manage them. For this, we use multiple forms of psychotherapy: schema therapy, EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, systemic therapy, and play therapy. We believe it is important to look at you and your environment in a broad manner, involving them when necessary. We incorporate the cognitive, physical, and systemic aspects into the therapeutic process.

We work closely with psychiatrists, physiotherapists, systemic therapists, relationship therapists, haptonomists, and colleagues who conduct psychological research.

You can come to us with various issues:

  • Sadness
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Traumatic experiences that still affect you
  • Concentration and/or behavioral problems
  • Relationship issues
  • Parenting questions

During the first telephone conversation, we will assess whether we can provide the help you need.
